Signing in is the easy part
Email and password, one button in the header, no second factor to fumble.
Rollero’s login sits behind the Log In button at the top right of every page, on desktop and on the mobile web app alike. The credentials are the email address and password you chose at sign-up. There is no username, no member number and no separate PIN, which keeps the process short and moves every recovery scenario onto the email address instead.
That is worth pausing on, because it defines everything that follows. If you lose access to the mailbox you registered with, you lose the self-service route back into the casino account and you are reliant on support. Registering with a work address you might one day lose, or an address you rarely check, is a small decision at sign-up that becomes an expensive one later. If you are still at the point of creating the account in the first place, use a permanent personal address you control.
Sessions persist for a while and then expire, which is normal and deliberate. A session dropping after an hour of inactivity is the platform working correctly, not a fault. What is not normal is being logged out every few minutes, and that has causes worth working through rather than tolerating.
Why Australians actually get locked out
An estimate from my own testing and from reader correspondence, not an operator statistic.
Relative frequency, not audited data. Rollero publishes no statistics on failed logins and I am not going to pretend otherwise — this reflects the pattern of problems I have run into and been asked about.
The distribution is unsurprising and mildly reassuring: the overwhelming majority of lockouts are ordinary credential and browser problems that resolve in minutes. The ones worth taking seriously sit in the middle — a verification hold and a self-imposed limit both look like a broken login from the outside, and both need a completely different response from a password reset.
Symptom, cause, fix
Work down this table before you open a support ticket.
| What you see | Most likely cause | What to do | Self-fix | Needs support |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| “Incorrect email or password” | Wrong password, or a different email than you remember | Use the forgot-password page. If the reset email never arrives, the account is under a different address. | ||
| Page loads but the login does nothing | Stale cache, blocked cookies or an aggressive extension | Clear cache and cookies, restart the browser, try a private window with extensions off. | ||
| Logged out every few minutes | Storage being cleared by a cleaner app, private browsing, or iOS reclaiming space | Play in a normal tab, exempt the site from cleaner apps, reinstall the home-screen icon. | ||
| Signed in but the cashier is blocked | Verification hold on the account | Open the Documents tab in your profile and check the status; supply whatever is outstanding same-day. | ||
| “Account unavailable” after a break | Cooling-off or self-exclusion you set earlier | Wait out the period. Cooling-off reactivates automatically; self-exclusion does not end early by design. | ||
| Site will not load at all | Network-level blocking, or a VPN endpoint the operator rejects | Turn the VPN off and retry on mobile data. A working connection with a failed login is a different problem. | ||
| Account locked after a withdrawal request | KYC deadline missed — the two-week clause | Contact support immediately with the outstanding documents. This is the one to escalate, not to sit on. |
The operator’s own FAQ gives the same first answer for a lost password — use the forgot-password page — and points to 24/7 live chat or the support email if that fails. In my experience live chat is genuinely the faster of the two for anything account-related, because a chat agent can see the account state while an email queue cannot. Keep the transcript afterwards; if a dispute develops, a timestamped chat log is the most useful thing you can have.
Phone-specific behaviour deserves its own note, because a session that dies repeatedly on a handset is nearly always a storage problem rather than a credentials problem — keeping a session alive on mobile covers what causes it and how to stop it recurring.
The locks you put on yourself
Three account states that look like a fault and are not.
Available for one week, one month, three months or six months. While it is active you cannot make fiat deposits and you are excluded from promotions, but you can still withdraw a remaining balance. It applies immediately and the account reactivates automatically when it expires.
Six months, nine months, one year or indefinite. The account is disabled at once. Withdrawing a remaining balance is done manually through support rather than through the cashier, and self-exclusion does not exempt you from verification if the casino needs it to release funds.
Twelve consecutive months with no login and no gameplay makes an account inactive, and a €20 monthly fee is then deducted from the balance — or the entire balance if it is smaller. This one is not reversible by logging back in; the deductions have already happened.
Neither cooling-off nor self-exclusion can be lifted early, and that is the entire point of them. If you have set one and now want back in, the honest answer is that the friction is doing its job — the terms are explicit that a limit decrease takes effect immediately while an increase requires email confirmation and can only take effect after the previous limit expires, precisely so that a bad evening cannot undo a good decision. Session limits work the same way and can be set anywhere from six minutes upwards.
Dormancy is the one to act on rather than accept. If you have finished with the account, withdraw the balance and email the closure address to have it shut properly. An idle account with sixty dollars in it is worth forty after two months of inactivity fees and nothing after three. Closing an account you no longer use costs one email and protects whatever is left in it.
Keeping the account yours
What the operator provides, and the three things you have to do yourself.
On the operator’s side
- 128-bit Secure Socket Layer encryption on data in transit
- PGP protocol for sensitive transfers
- Live phone verification available as an anti-fraud step
- Documents held against the account rather than re-requested each time
- 24/7 live chat for anything that looks like unauthorised access
The published security posture is standard rather than remarkable: transport encryption, a documented KYC process and a support channel that answers around the clock. What is notably absent from the published material is two-factor authentication on login. If it existed as a player-facing feature, it would be advertised; it is not, and I am not going to claim a control I cannot see.
That puts more weight on your side of the arrangement. A unique password stored in a password manager, a mailbox with its own two-factor protection, and no shared devices covers the realistic threats. Since password recovery runs entirely through email, the mailbox is effectively the master key to the casino account — secure that first and the rest follows.
One more habit worth building: withdraw regularly rather than letting a balance accumulate. It limits the damage from every scenario on this page at once, and it is the single most effective security measure available to a player at an offshore casino. Our top-level Rollero page sets out why that matters more here than at an Australian-licensed wagering account.
Login questions
The ones that arrive at eleven at night with a balance sitting in the account.
I have forgotten my password. What now?
Use the forgot-password page and a new password is issued immediately. The operator’s FAQ says exactly this, and adds that 24/7 live chat or the support email will handle it in real time if the self-service route fails. If the reset email never arrives, the account is registered to a different address than you think.
Does Rollero offer two-factor authentication?
No player-facing 2FA is advertised on the site. Treat your email account as the security boundary for the casino account and protect it accordingly — unique password, its own two-factor, and no shared access.
Why does the site keep logging me out on my phone?
Almost always storage rather than credentials: private browsing, a cleaner app or iOS reclaiming space wipes the session token. Use a normal tab, exempt the site from any cleaner, and reinstall the home-screen icon if it has stopped opening full-screen.
Can I log in from a different country?
The terms bar residents of a list of restricted countries from real-money play, and Australia is not on that list. Travelling into a restricted jurisdiction and logging in from there is a different matter and can put the account at risk. Turn the VPN off — masking your location is more likely to trigger a review than to prevent one.
My account says unavailable and I did not close it.
Check whether you set a cooling-off or self-exclusion period earlier, since both disable access without any further warning. If neither applies, it is a verification or compliance hold and live chat is the fastest way to find out which.
How do I close my account permanently?
Email the dedicated account-closure address and the team will action it; the operator’s FAQ describes both a self-exclusion for a set period and an indefinite closure that can be reopened later. If the reason is problem gambling, use live chat instead and it will be handled immediately.
